These graceful antelope are known for their keen eyesight, remarkable speed, and alert nature, making them rewarding animals to pursue.
At BarBell Ranch in Sweetwater, Texas, our blackbuck doe packages include two does per hunt. Whether you prefer a day hunt or an overnight stay, you'll have the opportunity to pursue these beautiful antelope with experienced guides in the open country of West Texas.

Quality Blackbuck Meat for the Freezer
Blackbuck are native to the Indian subcontinent and have become a distinctive part of Texas exotic hunting. While mature males are known for their dark coats and impressive spiral horns, females typically have lighter tan coloring and lack horns.
For meat hunters, blackbuck offer another attractive benefit: lean delicious red meat.
Blackbuck venison can be enjoyed as steaks, roasts, ground meat, or sausage, making it a versatile option for hunters who enjoy preparing their own wild game.
With two does included in each package, hunters can make the most of a single hunting trip while bringing home quality meat for their families.

Spot-and-Stalk or Blind Blackbuck Doe Hunts
At BarBell Ranch, hunters can choose between guided spot-and-stalk hunting and hunting from a blind, allowing you to select the hunting experience that best suits your preferences.
Spot-and-Stalk Blackbuck Hunting
For hunters who enjoy an active pursuit, spot-and-stalk hunting offers an exciting challenge.
Blackbuck are sharp-eyed and quick to react to movement, making patience, careful positioning, and effective use of the terrain important when approaching them.
Working alongside your guide, you'll search for blackbuck and plan a careful approach through the ranch's West Texas country. Their alert nature adds an element of challenge even when the primary goal is putting quality meat in the freezer.
Hunting Blackbuck Does From a Blind
Hunters who prefer a more stationary approach can pursue blackbuck does from one of the ranch's hunting blinds.
Blind hunting provides the opportunity to observe animal movement and wait for an appropriate shot without the physical demands of an active stalk.
Both approaches are professionally guided, giving hunters flexibility whether they're experienced exotic hunters or planning their first blackbuck hunt.
