How quickly will I hear back?+

How long are the hunts?+
Our standard hunt package is based on a two-night stay, which is reflected in our pricing. We're happy to accommodate shorter or longer trips — just let us know what works for your group.
What's included in the hunt price?+

Do I need a Texas hunting license?+
Yes. Most exotics can be taken on a regular Texas hunting license. We're happy to help walk you through it.
Can you accommodate non-hunting guests?+
Absolutely. Spouses, kids, and observers are welcome at the lodge. Cost is $150 a night per non-hunter. Kids under 12 are free.
What should I bring?+
Yourself, clothing, firearm/bow (we have rifles available for rent), cooler(s) (ice is provided), any additional hunting equipment you'd like to. We take care of meals, non-alcoholic beverages, bedding, towels, and pillows are all provided.
What about tips?+
Gratuities are appreciated and not included in our pricing. Average gratuities are 10-25% percent of the hunt price. Tipping guides and chef is appreciated.
What forms of payment do you accept?+
We accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Square, and bank wire transfers.
How much is required to book a hunt?+
A deposit equal to 50% of the total hunt cost is required to reserve your hunt dates. Remaining balances are due prior to or at the time of the hunt unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Do you offer a guaranteed shot opportunity?+
We offer something better. The Barbel Ranch Promise: If your hunt ends without a harvest or a wounded animal, we'll work with you to reschedule at no additional hunt fee. If an animal is wounded, we'll make every reasonable effort to recover it. Per standard hunting practice, wounded animals remain the hunter's responsibility whether recovered or not.
