The Hunt

It was a cool West Texas morning at BarBell Ranch in Sweetwater, Texas. The sun had just begun to light the horizon, and the sky was clear. This was the kind of morning every hunter hopes for: calm air, comfortable temperatures, and excellent visibility across the rolling ranch country.

Chance Tidwell arrived ready for a significant opportunity. After locating animals with binoculars, excitement grew. Moving carefully through the ranch, Chance and the crew spotted an incredible Midnight Urial. This ram immediately stood out.

The Midnight Urial is an impressive species. It is known for its dark coat, striking appearance, and beautiful horn structure. This particular ram, however, was special. Years of growth created a truly outstanding trophy. It would challenge the ranch record books.

The Shot

Chance aimed his Christensen Arms 6.5 Creedmoor rifle at the ram. He chose this rifle for its accuracy and reliability. It was the ideal tool for the shot. The ram presented an opening, and Chance stayed calm and focused.

One accurate shot from the Christensen Arms rifle successfully ended the hunt.

The team walked toward the animal. They quickly saw this was more than a great trophy. It was a record Midnight Urial for BarBell Ranch. The ram's size, mass, and overall characteristics were exceptional.
